However, these alloys share many traits, including an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and high surface finish potential. Aluminum 2024 & 2011: 2024 offers high fatigue strength; 2011 offers superb machinability for threaded parts. Best for aerospace fittings, fasteners, precision parts.
Aluminum 7075: High strength, lightweight; less corrosion resistant than 6061. Best for aerospace components, high-stress parts.
